We Love Northern California

DiscoverNorthernCalifornia.com is produced and published by my husband (Wolf) and me (Suzi). Our goal is to provide you, our visitors, with free quality information that you can use to explore the wonders of Northern California. We want you to love it as much as we do.

In our quest to do so, we travel extensively throughout NorCal, seeking the truth about everything from well-known and famous tourist attractions to the most obscure insider secrets - ever hear of Little River's Pygmy Forest or Oakhurst's Testicle Festival?

Producing this website is a labor of love because we love exploring Northern California ourselves, and - most of all - we love sharing NorCal with you!

Why have we decided to accept PayPal donations?

But there are expenses involved in producing and publishing any website, and this one is no exception. We do accept some advertising - to quote from our Advertising Policy page:

"Discover Northern California is committed to providing you, our friends, fans, followers, and visitors, with free quality information for you to use in exploring the wonders of Northern California.

"We spend a lot of time, energy, and money traipsing around the North State and then working at the computer - writing, processing through photos, researching - to bring you the most current and accurate information about tourist attractions, things to see and do, insider secrets, and upcoming events and festivals (I know, it's a rough job, but someone's gotta do it!)"

- but the advertising doesn't cover all the costs of producing the website.

So, we're asking, if you have found our website to be helpful and would like to make a small (non-tax-deductible) donation to further help us defray the costs of hosting these pages, it's very easy to do that.

How to Make PayPal Donations

We're accepting donations via PayPal, "the faster, safer way to send money" and to make online donations. Whether you have a PayPal account or not, you can donate through PayPal.

Note: You don't have to sign into PayPal if you're paying by credit card.

Your donation can be whatever amount you choose, but because PayPal charges us to receive payments (there's no charge to you), please do not donate less than 50 cents.

PayPal Donations: Your Security and Your Privacy

PayPal will disclose your name and email address to us (* but NOT your credit card information). Rest assured that neither we nor PayPal will ever use such information to Spam you, nor will we ever disclose it to anyone else for any reason.
